This printer is in lightly used condition with no visible cosmetic damage to the exterior. The unit powers on, but full functionality could not be tested because the unit arrived without ink cartridges. This model requires all ink cartridges, including color, to be installed and not expended in order for the printer to function, even when printing in black and white, as the printer uses a small amount of all colors to maintain the print head. There is minor ink residue inside the printhead rail compartment, which is typical of previous use. The control panel, screen, and paper trays appear to be in excellent physical condition with no cracks or major signs of wear. *GENERIC CONDITION STATEMENT* This item has been handled/inspected, tested if needed by our listing staff to the best of their ability/knowledge and for an unknown reason arrived to our facility with an issue. This item has been deemed in new condition from our listing staff and shows no signs of use. This issue can either be a very minor/major cosmetic issue which most likely occurred during shipping such as a dent, indent, scuff, stain, scratch or knick. If not a cosmetic issue, it can be a function issue with the item itself or there could be certain parts missing to make the item complete from how it is sold originally.
