the main desk top has a coupe of holes/damage from previous installation, the damage is entirely on the underside where it will not be seen once assembled, based on the instruction manual we believe that you should be able to put the item together even with this damage but you may want to reinforce another way as well, there is a small tear in one of the fabric liners, please see photos for checklist and all damage
