Box was sealed with straps and tape, but due to the nature of the product and the cost of it we decided it best to open and inspect for any damage to the body or glass stovetop We found the front drawer on the bottom to have some light inward denting, but this does not affect pulling it out or pushing it back in, it is purely cosmetic
