The metal slats are wrapped in a rug, implying previous ownership. In addition, there are stress marks around the holes of some but not all pieces indicating previous partial assembly. There are also some scuffs/scratches in some areas, likely the result of shipping damage rather than previous use - see photos. Outside of these cosmetic blemishes, there are no visible issues with any part and all parts appear present. Though the bedframe has clearly been previously handled, it does not appear as though it was ever fully assembled and used.
