However, the brake wiring has come loose/disconnected, which means the braking system is not operational in its current condition. As a result, the only way to come to a halt is by manual means (such as stepping off or letting the scooter slow naturally), making it unsafe for normal riding until repaired. Buyers should be aware that the scooter will require brake wiring repair or replacement before it can be used safely.
