There are some light stains on the surface of the mattress as well as some dirt on the edges, and a stain on the corner of the underside. It is unclear if this dirtiness indicates prior use or is simply a result of shipping/handling without proper packaging, but there is no extreme wear or any visible damage to any part of the mattress, so a good spot cleaning should have it looking good as new - see photos.
